Our favorite tradition is back for its 10th year — Beers $4 Vets runs November 1 through Veterans Day, November 11.
Here’s how it works:
🪖 Starting 11/1, customers can pre-purchase a beer for a veteran at a discounted $4 price (available through 11/7)
🎖️ Beginning 11/6, veterans can come in and redeem those pre-purchased beers in the taproom - 2 per day
❤️ After 11/11, any unredeemed beers will be donated to the TAPS Foundation, supporting families of fallen service members.
The TAPS Foundation (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors) provides comfort, care, and resources to those grieving the loss of a loved one who served in the military. They offer counseling, peer support, and programs that help families heal while honoring the legacies of those who gave everything.

Zack Baize is a Lake Ridge local and beer club member! He has played in several bands in his hometown of Louisville, KY and Northern Virginia over the years but took time off after having kids. Recently inspired by some friends to get back out and play live, Water's End seemed like an obvious place to start.

The 10th Annual THRASHGIVING show will be hosted at Waters End Brewery in Woodbridge VA to help feed the hungry as well as in observation of Veterans Day we will be helping support the local nonprofit Valor Ranch who specialize in recreational therapy for service members and their families who have become wounded, ill, or injured as a result of their service in the defense of our country.
All bands, artists, sound, and venue are donating their time to this event. This event is not possible without you all. Let’s help make this a success by supporting those in need.

Michael Stoutenger has been a stage musician for over 18 years starting when he was 18 years old at open mics than progressing to his own Saturday night shows leading to a 3 piece band he would lead for 10 years known as Stealing Fame. Michael recorded several albums with Stealing Fame which ultimately came to an end in 2020 during the pandemic. Since then Michael has been working on his solo career once again as he begins his journey in a new state. So Good, So Good! is a familiar rally cry that invokes togetherness, whether at the neighborhood watering hole or a sporting event. Ales for ALS (Founded in 2013) is a partnership between breweries around the country and Yakima Valley Hop Farm to channel that togetherness into fighting for this great cause and building awareness for ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease. Every full-pour and 32oz Crowler sold of So Good, So Good! will generate a $1 donation to the ALS Therapy Development Institute and build on 6 years of Water's End participation.
Each year features a specialty hop blend curated by Yakima Valley Hop Farms and this year offers Mosaic, Simcoe, Krush and 2 prototype hops yet to be named. These fruit forward hops will offer a complex, full flavor that builds with each sip and lingers until the next.
